Compassion is a super power. Each and every one of us has it... and when we use it, we can change the world. This idea is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that, given the opportunity, people want to do good. Compassion is the spark that sets positive change in motion. A simple act or gesture, powered by compassion, can transform rapidly, creating a viral effect. We are living proof.
In just three short years, Coupla Guys and Gals Give Back has grown into a community of over 5,000 compassionate volunteers. We’ve powered more than 120 volunteer events in 5 cities, supporting causes that help people, animals and the environment. What started in 2015 as one person’s desire to create lasting impact grew into something much more.
In fact, we’ve grown faster than we could have ever imagined. As a result, we’ve learned some things. That’s why we have decided to take a brief break in programming. We recognize that our growth -- and our impact -- is dependent on being able to scale our systems, processes and people. To accomplish our ambitious goals, we first need to ensure that we can continue to accommodate rapid growth. We hope you will bear with us as we make improvements and plan for the next great push. We will be back soon enough and we can’t wait to see what is still to come.
