As an Assistant Volunteer Coordinator of the Midnight Mission I was given the honor and privilege of giving the group tours of the Midnight Mission and had the opportunity to humbly share my story. I built good rapport with the group, established true friendships, and was able to attain an awesome job at BMW of Beverly Hills. The group believed in me, that I would rise way above the nightmare of living a homeless, drug-addicted lifestyle which in turn helped create a man of strength, integrity, and self respect. I was treated with love and therefore felt human once again.
To me what makes C3GB different is the joy, the true desire to give back to the less fortunate and the unity. The beauty is in this group’s hearts to be of service no matter what!
I don’t have enough room to write about everything. But I have a special place in my heart for Jason, Jeremy, Derek, Toni, Karyna and Karine. I love you guys more than you can imagine.
